William Logan Memorial, Buffalo Baptist Church Cemetery, Cherokee County, SC (once York County)

Betty Logan furnished this memorial to her ancestor, William Logan, one of the four Logan brothers who fought at the Battle of Kings Mountain in the Revolutionary War. It is in Buffalo Baptist Church Cemetery in Cherokee County, South Carolina (once York County, SC). William Logan attended Buffalo Baptist Church and was a Judge of Temporal Controversy for the church. William Logan is buried on private land, so Betty placed this memorial at William’s church cemetery. The “unsculpted stone” which marks William’s grave has not been located, but the search continues. Thank you, Betty Logan.
