William Logan witnesses deed between John Ashley and church wardens of St. Mark’s Parish, Spotsylvania County, Virginia, 1731

William Logan, along with Wm. Johnson and W. Russell, were witnesses to a deed between John Ashley and Robert and Francis Slaughter, church wardens of St. Mark’s Parish in Spotsylvania County, Virginia, for the use of the parish for a glebe: 30 September 1731. John Ashley made his mark, being unable to write his name.
