Texas Confederate Pension for Jeretta Glover Logan, widow of Leander Logan, Corsicana, Navarro County, Texas, 1900

Jeretta Glover married Leander Logan, son of Freeman Logan and Sabra Martin Logan, 3 November 1859 in “Tuskaloosa” County, Alabama. Leander Logan enlisted in Co. F, 41st Alabama Volunteer Infantry Regiment, Confederate States of America (C.S.A.), along with his brother, Byrd Logan. Leander Logan was captured and became a prisoner of war at the Battle of Hatchers Run in Virginia the end of March, 1865. The family moved to Texas from Tuscaloosa County in 1877. Leander Logan died 17 July 1882 in Smith County, Texas. The family later moved to Navarro County, Texas. In 1900, Jeretta Logan applied for a Texas Confederate Pension. She died 1 March 1919 in Frost, Navarro County, Texas.
