H.G. Logan — Henry Gaffney Logan — was the son of John Randolph Logan and Sarah Patterson Jackson Logan. He moved to Arkansas during Reconstruction. He was a member of the Reconstruction Ku Klux Klan, active in Cleveland County, North Carolina, and York County, South Carolina.

The conditions and requirements of indenture make for interesting reading.
